Collection of previously unreleased songs, recorded in different environment, using different equipment.
These were stuck on my virtual drive for several years, and I've been revisiting these tracks and ejoying them every once in a while. I feel like letting them go, so I can focus on the brand-new material.
Some songs were recorded in pre-pandemic time, such as "At Dusk" and "Overtones". These still hold the vibe of living in China, engaging the listener with some field recordings and folk instruments, juxtaposing those with polyphonic analog synth pads.
Others, for example "Distant Mountain Loop" or "Underwater Song" were recorded straight to cassette deck and have the element of spontaneous improvisation, balancing between cassette drone and guitar soloing.
Anyway, I feel much better that I shared these with you.
