來自俄羅斯，卻陷入東亞文化不可自拔，吉他和合成器的長音，漂浮的音符陷入延綿不斷的霧氣，落入土壤生根發芽，進入下一層世界的雲端，像堅硬的巖石被打破，從碎片到粉末，幾萬年後山脈沈入大海，循環往復。

▼Pool of light is drone/psychedelic project by Anton Bogdanov, a Siberia-born musician currently residing in China. His music is mostly focused on subconsciousness material, tranquility states and search for inner awareness. The project has huge part of improvisational , cosmic and folk-drone element, basing his live performances on loops and long drones.
Anton Bogdanov - guitars, vocals, loops, zhongruan, sheng, suona, synths, effects, bows, field recordings.
Recorded & mixed by Anton Bogdanov between August-December 2018.
Mastered by Cyril Meysson in Saint-Étienne, France, 2019.

have yet to translate the song titles so the artist's intentions are somewhat of a mystery to me, but the wavering surface noise creates the theme of a dialogue between music & technology before becoming invisible to my ears. this conjures memories of listening to music as a child (long before the sterility of digital media), when i rarely took notice of the hiss & pops of records, 8-tracks, tapes, & am radio because they were a normal, necessary aspect of recorded sound. nice to be back again.
